Jesse Wheaton is originally from Oakland, CA where he was introduced to electronic music through Oakland’s underground rave scene and Dirtybird’s BBQs in Golden Gate Park. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois Matthew Moen grew up absorbing the rich house history of his hometown. As his tastes developed, Matthew found him self falling deeper into obscure sub-genres of dance music like Hyperpop and Nightcore while still maintaining a healthy respect for all things House. He sometimes moonlights as a DJ by the name of Skinny McToothpick and currently studying multi-media approaches to art making at NYU. Ultimately, Matthew is a snob that talks about himself in the third person but at least he has good musical taste!

Claire Halloran grew up in Ivoryton, CT, which, officially, is considered a village. Raised on classic rock and oldies radio, she discovered electronic music while scrolling though the depths of iTunes Top 100— needless to say, she immediately became a basshead. Claire’s taste has since evolved from the mainstream, and as a vinyl enthusiast and audiophile, she’s found that sound quality is more important than genre labels ever could be. She’s been known to vibe to weird, bass-filled soundscapes, sensual soul, and everything in between.

Roma’s roots to electronic dance music date back to age 10, when her mom would blast (literally up to maximum volume) Tiesto, Alice Deejay, Ian Van Dahl, and Darude in the car. Years later, she reconnected with her roots after listening to Porter Robinson’s “Language” for the first time, and the rest is history. She loves all kinds of electronic, ranging from future bass to trance, but has a soft spot for melodic dubstep (Seven Lions we’re looking at you).
