Woah, where to even begin with this new one from Xilent… Xilent has been pushing the boundaries of melodic dubstep and electro for half a decade now, with his first big hit “Choose Me II” coming out on the UKF Dubstep 2011 album. Eryk Kowalczyk, the Polish melodic dubstep trailblazer, has done it again with another outstanding new single. The new track, titled “Kill Me”, is a beautifully harmonious slasher with a dark twist. This is the kind of song that would play in an epic battle scene in space in some syfy flick. Prepare to be swept up off your feet by this incredible new original.
Being released as a single off of the upcoming Never Say Die Black Label XXL album, this new track from Franky Nuts & NCT found its way into my Soundcloud feed and boy am I happy it did! I first heard this track in the NSD Black label XXL album mix by SKisM and instantly fell in love with it before I even knew who it was. Now I had never even heard of either Franky Nuts nor NCT, so I was especially impressed with the production and how great it was. This track reminds me of the kind of dubstep that originally made me fall in love with the genre. The harmonious chords coupled with filthy growls is such a perfect blend.
This last track comes from Disciple Records legends, Dodge & Fuski. The duo is one of my favorite dubstep groups out there. Their last EP titled “The Pretty Good EP” was anything but pretty good. It was a god dam dubstep masterpiece. Similar to their two best songs from that EP “Yeti” and “OK!”, their newest single titled “Bring it Back” features an ear piercing lead synth along with a classic reggae dub chord progression. Check out their newest single and hear for yourself, but listeners be warned, neck injuries might occur.
