G Jones continues to impress while bending genre boundaries and producing some of the most unique and mind altering bass music out there. The Santa Cruz, California native has been producing bass music under the stage name G Jones for more than four years now. He got his first big break in the electronic music world with the release of his seven track EP titled “Eyes” back in late 2013 featuring hit tracks like “Zig Zak” and “Boss Levels”. G Jones has quickly and successfully made a name for himself as one of bass music’s most unique and talented young artists. His sound is truly unmatched by any other producers out there.
What I like most about G Jones is the main synth he often uses in his original tracks; a grinding, twisting pulsation of bass that leaves the listener in a euphoric state of bass music trance. Today he released a brand new original collaboration with SMKSGNLS (pronounced Smoke Signals), a fellow Bay Area bass music producer, titled “The Realness”. The track is a bit less than three minutes, but wastes no time getting right into it. After a short but well produced introduction, the drop detonates with that same explosive synth that fans of G Jones have come to love and expect from him. Check out the brand new track above! I’ve also put G Jones’s other most recent release into the playlist as well, a track titled “Fuck What You Heard”.
