B edouin is a Brooklyn based duo striving to pull various influences from their combination of Middle Eastern heritage and Western exposure. In their newly released EP, “ride into the unknown”, they put this diverse sound on full display. For the onset (or hopeful near-exit) of the winter chill, put on your headphones, kick back, and ride into the unknown.
From start to finish, “ride into the unknown” is a good example of the duo’s use of Middle-Eastern influences, with uses of instruments like harps and flutes to create a haunting ambiance. The EP is nothing short of mesmerizing in its trance-inducing tone and is some of Bedouin at its finest. Though they’ve always strived for this sound, they haven’t done so at the expense of variety and have now shown that they’ll continue to successfully promote the influences of their roots on electronic music.
