E llum label-mates Maceo Plex and Shall Ocin’s remix of German producer Stephan Bodzin’s “Powers of Ten” is the epitome of a musical journey infused with melody and soul. With roaring bass and beautiful progression, the track makes it nigh impossible to close your eyes and enter into a trancelike state. Both Bodzin and Maceo Plex are already renowned for similarly enrapturing material so “Powers of Ten” isn’t an anomaly within their discographies, but it manages to once again prove that their ability to evoke deep-seated sensations knows no bounds.
