Coming in hot after his killer remix/cover of “BBHMM,” Paris-based up-and-comer FAB just released his first original in a while, titled “Why You Leavin.” The drop is unexpected and trippy, with a solid beat to vibe to. I think FAB’s production would stand fine on its own, but Vann’s vocals definitely add pop appeal and contrast nicely with the dark, heavy drops.
FEKI makes his triumphant return with “Years & Years,” which starts off with an epic build and minimalistic drop which is unique and fun as usual. The vocals flow seamlessly with Feki’s diverse and intricate production.
Where is Alex is another up and comer you should keep your ear on. I just found him from his new track “say my name,” which blends styles and sub genres and samples more songs than I can identify; the classic vocals tie it all together, but Alex made this fun, unique track very much his own.
