Uberjak’d, a native of Melbourne, has been called one of the pioneers of the Melbourne Bounce genre, and for good reason. Recently signing to Dim Mak, Uberjak’d has taken the biggest songs in the past few months, such as “Flute” and “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat”, and turned them into certified bounce bangers. Not slowing down, Uberjak’d just dropped a brand new mix on THUMP, which he calls his “Melbourne Bounce Mix”
Packed full of ID’s, new tunes from his upcoming album, and bounced out remixes of some of the biggest tunes currently in rotation, this mix simply can’t be missed. Download it for free off his soundcloud!
Melbourne native Reese Low could also be called one of the pioneers of the bounce genre. In his latest remix of Sloprock’s “No Other Way”, he keeps the integrity of the original track through the break and intro, until the drop that is. A short and effective buildup gives way to absolute chaos on the drop. A concoction of pitched and bouncy synths blends together with Reese Low’s signature off beat bass, with a kick to match.
Even as I type this, I can’t stop bouncing to this one. Grab the track on beatport, and be sure to check out his other tracks on his soundcloud!
Another Showtek Remix? Be sure to Peep This.
Edmonton, Canada based producers “Peep This” have slowly been gathering a following on sound cloud due to their eclectic remixes of artists ranging from The Notorious BIG to Tiesto. In their latest remix, the duo take Showtek’s “Bad” and spin it into a certified Bounce Banger, while still managing to keep the aura of the original synth intact.
