So I’ve been listening to these guys for a while and their music is incredible. Sort of a nostalgic melancholic feeling over an indie electro pop beat. Can’t wait for some new work.
Jordan Kelly has an smooth but upbeat singing style that acapella would still remind you of electro-pop, and that mixes well with Jason Huber’s production and guitar.
Hard not to love a song that transitions from:
“Forgive my english. Whats the point of language if you don’t say what you feel?”
“To all the Bitch-Ass Hoes that hate me the most, oh yea I hate you too”
There’s something appealingly sexy and smooth about their music that doesn’t often come with the feeling they evoke: a upbeat future laced with bitingly melancholy memories.
They have some great break up music, whether its bittersweet (Promise) or upbeat (Hearbreaker, Dosas and Mimosas).
Lately their music seems to have more synths and an almost techno feel (also check out Jazzercise ’95).
Seriously, make some new work guys, its incredible.
